Comment After over 7 years at the OU, Alex Little is leaving to serve in Ethiopia on a VSO programme. Alex has been a member of KMi's team working on the OU-wide OpenLearn project since 2006, and most recently, worked on the new SocialLearn project. He developed the MSG social presence tool while working with Marc Eisenstadt on OpenLearn, and then joined the Cohere Web 2.0 knowledge mapping team for SocialLearn. As well as developing great Web 2.0 tools, Alex has co-written several papers and run training workshops on KMi's sensemaking tools -- as well as organising summer rounders! A true KMi all-rounder :-) Alex will now be working on the ICT and e-learning infrastructure at Mikelle University, Ethiopia. KMi members gathered to present him with a card wishing him bon voyage on this exciting step, and look forward to tracking his journey via his blog, where he describes what he'll be doing, and where you can donate to his project...
