We’re all interested in what makes people tick, how they think, act and interact with others.
That’s why studying psychology – the science of human behavior – is interesting in its own right. But it can also help develop a range of widely applicable transferable skills. As well as gaining an understanding of ideas, theories and methods in psychology, and learning how to analyze and evaluate psychological concepts, you will develop skills in assessing different kinds of evidence, including both quantitative and qualitative data leading to opportunities in education, industry, the health professions, management, advertising and marketing, human resources, research, counseling, and social services.
