OU's superlight camera launches into Earth's orbit

A new space camera, developed by OU researchers, was attached to the UKube-1 satellite mission which launched on 8 July 2014.
UKube-1 was the UK's first national CubeSat and was launched from Baikonur in Kazakhstan on a Soyuz-2-1b Fregat-M rocket. The space camera was one of a suite of technologies to be tested during the space mission.
