An edition of 60 prints were created using the 2.5D hardware and software developed at the Centre for Fine Print Research, University of the West of England Bristol. Software was used to segment a photographic image of a bee into coloured layers, where each layer was composed of computationally determined 3D vectors to operate the 2.5D printer. The 2.5D printer used brush and ink to create coloured marks on paper.
