Design in Action's Impact: (Bryan Beattie, founder of Tappstory) said - Part of it is being very clear about what the intention of the project is, and then inviting contributions. I find that ideas develop much more interestingly and usefully the more folk contribute. You have to be prepared to be generous with the people who put their time in. I'm investing in them and asking them to trust the process; by giving me their creativity then I have to trust them back.

Tappstory is an augmented reality app that is activated automatically when a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) touches a product label to reveals its provenance and authenticity. The app helps products to tell their story by sharing how products were made, who they were made by, and why. The Tappstory app will function as a link to value-added, bespoke marketing materials and mobile point-of-sale.
